Homework: Read pgs. 55-59. Take good quality notes either in your book or on a separate sheet of paper.
After this last test, many of you need to develop your note taking and study habits better. I would encourage you to:
- Rewrite major concepts, people, and places in statements in your own words.
- Write your own test questions as you read the section.
- Write keywords next to underlined or highlighted passages.
- Don’t highlight everything.
- Read out loud.
- Explain the concepts you learn to someone.
- Quiz yourself or someone else.
- Draw memory clues, such as pictures, next to things you want to remember.
